What this site stores
The site uses a small set of strictly functional entries in browser storage. None of them identifies a visitor personally, and none of them follows a visitor to another website.
- Session continuity — keeps a form submission or search state intact while a visitor moves between pages.
- Preference memory — remembers dismissed notices and interface choices so they do not reappear on every visit.
- Rotation state — the homepage and section imagery rotate on a schedule computed in the browser; the computation uses the date, not a stored identifier.
- Security — infrastructure-level entries set by the hosting platform to mitigate abuse and balance load.
What this site does not store
There are no advertising cookies, no social-media pixels, no fingerprinting scripts, and no third-party analytics cookies that build profiles of individual visitors.
Where the coalition measures site usage at all, it does so with aggregate, privacy-preserving measurement that cannot reconstruct an individual’s browsing. The coalition’s interest is whether a page works and is read — not who read it.
Third-party content
Some pages embed content served from third-party infrastructure — fonts, imagery CDNs, or the map tiles on the members directory. Those providers may set their own strictly technical cookies to deliver the content.
The coalition selects providers whose delivery cookies are functional rather than tracking-based, and reviews the inventory whenever a new embed is added. External websites linked from this one carry their own cookie policies, which visitors should review separately.
Managing cookies
Because the site sets nothing beyond functional storage, it works fully with cookies restricted. Every modern browser allows visitors to view, restrict, and delete stored entries.
Instructions live in each browser’s settings under privacy controls. Deleting this site’s stored entries has exactly one visible effect: preferences reset and dismissed notices reappear. Nothing else about the site degrades.
If the site’s storage inventory ever grows beyond the strictly functional, this policy will change first and the change will be announced — the inventory above is a commitment, not a snapshot.
