The coalition answers what it is asked. Every channel on this page reaches a named office with a published service standard — not a shared inbox that swallows correspondence. Choose the channel that matches the matter: routing a message correctly is the single largest factor in how fast it comes back answered.
Allocation and investment matters
Institutions bringing a mandate, program, or transaction to the fund should use the allocation inquiry form rather than general correspondence. The form routes directly to the investment desk of the relevant regional hub and captures, in one pass, what the desk needs to give a substantive first answer.
The desk acknowledges every properly submitted inquiry within five business days and returns a substantive response — including, where the answer is no, the reason — within twenty. What the fund looks for in a proposal is published in full under How We Work, and reading it before submitting is the best preparation an inquiry can have.
Media and public affairs
Journalists reach the communications office through the newsroom, which lists current press contacts, downloadable media kits, and the coalition’s spokespeople by region and subject.
The office operates on deadline time, not bureaucratic time: requests flagged as on-deadline are acknowledged the same business day. Interview requests for coalition officials, fact-checking queries, and usage permissions for coalition material all route through the same desk, so nothing waits on internal forwarding.
Partnerships and institutional relations
Peer institutions, development finance partners, and prospective co-financiers should write to the partnerships team through the general channel below, marked for institutional relations.
The team maintains the framework crosswalks that let a partner’s counsel map coalition standards against their own, and will walk through the mapping in a single working session. Prospective members begin instead with the accession material under Coalition Member, which sets out the criteria and the process before any formal application.
Careers
Candidates apply through the position pages under Join the Fraction — every one of the coalition’s open roles has its own page and its own application route.
The recruitment team does not accept applications by email, because applications outside the system cannot be tracked, acknowledged, or fairly compared. Questions about a specific position reach the hiring office through the application form’s query field and are answered within two weeks.
Integrity, complaints, and information requests
Three formal channels operate under the accountability framework, each independent of the operations it examines.
These channels are described in full, with their service standards and escalation paths, on the accountability page. Using them creates a formal record with deadlines the coalition is audited against — which is exactly why they exist.
- Integrity reporting — suspected fraud or corruption in anything the coalition finances: confidential, available around the clock, anonymity respected.
- Complaints mechanism — for people and communities affected by coalition-financed projects: acknowledgement within five business days.
- Access to information — requests for documents not already published: answered within twenty business days, refusals reasoned and appealable.
General correspondence
Everything that fits none of the above reaches the secretariat through the coalition’s general address, and is logged, routed to the responsible office, and answered within ten business days.
Correspondence may be sent in any of the coalition’s languages of operation. Letters to the Governing Council or the Secretary-General are logged in the official correspondence register and acknowledged by the office of the Secretary-General; matters requiring Council attention are tabled through its published committee calendar.
Every channel above carries a service standard, and the coalition publishes its performance against them in the annual report — because an institution that asks its partners for accountability should be easy to hold to account itself.
