Terms of Use
The conditions that govern access to this website, its content, its data platform, and the services offered through it.
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the United Economic Development Fund website, the data platform, the publications library, and every service offered through them. By accessing any part of the site, a visitor accepts these terms in full. They are written to be read — short where the law allows, precise where it does not — because a coalition that asks its members for transparency owes its visitors the same.
Acceptance and scope
These terms apply to the entire uedf.org domain, including the commitments explorer, the data platform, country profiles, the newsroom, the publications and resources libraries, and the careers portal. They apply to every visitor, whether browsing anonymously, submitting an allocation inquiry, or applying for a position.
Separate agreements govern the coalition’s relationships with its members, its co-financiers, and its counterparties. Nothing on this website creates, modifies, or supersedes those agreements. Where a document on this site summarises a legal instrument, the instrument prevails over the summary in every case of conflict.
Use of content
Unless otherwise marked, the editorial content, publications, and data visualisations on this site are made available for personal, educational, journalistic, and research use with attribution to the United Economic Development Fund.
Datasets published on the data platform carry their own licence notes on the page where they are downloaded. In general, coalition data is published under open terms that permit reuse and redistribution with attribution, because data the public cannot reuse is data the public cannot verify.
Commercial republication of full publications, systematic scraping of the site, and any use that misrepresents coalition positions or implies coalition endorsement require prior written permission from the communications office.
- Attribute reused material to the United Economic Development Fund with a link to the source page.
- Do not alter charts, figures, or excerpts in ways that change their meaning.
- Do not present coalition material as endorsement of any product, service, or political position.
Accuracy and the illustrative-figures note
The coalition works to keep the site accurate and current, and corrects errors promptly when they are found. The site nonetheless carries operational and portfolio figures that are updated on publication cycles, not in real time.
Figures are presented in good faith as at their stated publication date. Audited financial statements — not website summaries — are the authoritative record of the coalition’s financial position, and the annual report is the authoritative record of results. Where the site and an audited document differ, the audited document controls.
Submissions and inquiries
Allocation inquiries, employment applications, and correspondence submitted through the site are received by the office named on the relevant form and handled under the Privacy Policy.
Submitting an inquiry does not create any obligation on the coalition to finance, respond within a commercial deadline, or enter negotiation. It does create an obligation the coalition takes seriously: every properly submitted inquiry is read, logged, and answered.
Prohibited conduct
Visitors must not attempt to breach the security of the site, probe or overload its infrastructure, submit fraudulent inquiries or applications, impersonate coalition officials, or use the site to transmit malicious code.
The coalition monitors for abuse and reserves the right to restrict access, revoke credentials, and refer conduct to relevant authorities. Suspected vulnerabilities should be reported responsibly to the security desk, which acknowledges reports within two business days.
Liability and changes
The site is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the coalition disclaims liability for losses arising from reliance on website content, from interruption of service, or from the content of external websites linked from this one.
These terms may be revised as the site and the law evolve. The date of the current version is shown below; material changes are announced through the newsroom. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Questions about these terms — including permission requests for commercial reuse — reach the Office of the General Counsel through the contact page, and receive a response within ten business days.
